Lawrence County woman reports theft that occurred in her driveway on Thursday.

 

Lawrenceburg Police Department was dispatched on Thursday to a residence on Stephens Street in reference to theft.

A female subject reported to the officer that she pulled up to her residence and ran inside to grab something where she left her car door open only for about 5 minutes, and when she returned her purse had been stolen.

The female subject reported the following items were inside her purse that was stolen: $60 in cash, Employee Resource Credit Union card, driver's license, insurance medical card, and blood pressure medicine.

The responding officer spoke with the female subject's surrounding neighbors who unfortunately did not see anything, and there was no discarded purse found after a search of the area was conducted.
