Authorities seek assistance in locating elderly Lawrence County man
Officials with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department are asking for information regarding the whereabouts of an elderly resident with dementia.
Department officials released information this morning, indicating that eighty-six year old William Rufus Beck has not been seen since attending a funeral Tuesday afternoon.
He reportedly left Neal Funeral Home at around 5:30 p.m., but never arrived home. In addition to dementia, they report that he suffers from a heart condition. Beck is a white male, 5’11” tall, 140 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair.
He drives a green 2006 model GMC Sierra truck, license plate number 950YZW. Anyone with information should contact the sheriff’s department at 931-762-3626.
