Maury County Firefighters responded to a wreck involving 3 vehicles where the Tennessee Highway Patrol took one driver into custody.

Maury County Fire Department released the following information and photos:

"Vehicle Extrication

MCFD responded to a three vehicle MVA yesterday @ 3:30pm on New Lewisburg Hwy near Seavy Hight Rd.

Responding units: Rescue 1, Engine 1, District Chief 3, Deputy Chief, and Chief Periut.

Units arrived to find a victim trapped in an overturned vehicle and stabilized the vehicle with struts and removed glass to allow the occupant to walk out. Units also removed the door of another vehicle. All vehicle occupants were able to walk away from the accident with minor injuries.

THP was on scene and placed one driver in custody. The Thanksgiving Holiday ranks third for most drunk driving accidents of all holidays throughout the year. Please refrain from driving impaired and make this a great holiday!
