Maury County Firefighters responded to second home explosion this week.

Maury County Fire Department released the following information and photos:

"Second Home Explosion this week:

This morning at 8:12 am MCFD was dispatched to Dry Creek Rd for a home explosion.

Responding units: Engines 1, 5, Squad 12, District Chief 2, Deputy Chief and Mt Pleasant FD on automatic aid with an engine and Chief Grooms.

Units arrived to find extensive structural damage to the rear of the home with two burn patients.

Maury EMS provided ALS care and were joined by Vandy Lifeflight VUMC crew as well.

MCSO fire investigators as well as TBI Bomb and Arson responded to the scene to investigate and determine the cause."
