Subject: Motor Vehicle Crash

On 10/26/2026 at approximately 8:00PM Lawrence County Fire Rescue units were dispatched to a call of an unresponsive person.

While responding to the unresponsive person call one of our emergency vehicles was involved in a single vehicle crash on Jonestown Road. Unfortunately the incident resulted in the death of the bull, and extensive damage to our response vehicle.

No injuries to our personnel were reported. The medical call that our unit was responding to was answered by another one of our units. The crash was investigated by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The owner of the livestock has not came forward. If you have any information pertaining to who the owner of the livestock is, please contact us via private message. Any information obtained will be compiled with the information and pictures that we have already gathered from neighbors in the area
