Limestone Deputy Makes Arrest Following Chase

A Limestone County deputy on patrol Thursday evening noticed suspicious activity in the vicinity of Highway 251 and Bethel Road.

He found that the vehicle was displaying the wrong license plate. When he stopped to investigate the driver fled on foot. He gave chase and quickly apprehended the suspect.

Brandon Oneal Mitchell, 26, of Ardmore was arrested after stolen catalytic converters, burglary tools and drug paraphernalia were found inside his vehicle.

He was transported to the Limestone County Detention Center where he was booked under several charges.
