In September 2025, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1,107 calls for service.
These calls, both proactive and reactive, resulted in 177 arrests.
Officers handled 261 civil processes,
28 burglar alarms,
27 domestic violence incidents,
25 thefts,
15 funeral escorts,
six mental health transports, and five vandalisms.
They also responded to 86 animal-related calls, 28 reports of suspicious persons or activity, 17 motorist assists, five suicide attempts, and 10 fraud cases. During the month, there were 111 traffic stops and 25 total crashes. There were no SWAT or Taser deployments reported.
