Theft incidents reported around Lawrenceburg

Some theft incidents have been reported in the Lawrenceburg area in the past few days, resulting in losses for the victims.
  
Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that outdoor furniture was stolen from a home on Smith Avenue The victim reported that a brown chair and a brown coffee table with a glass top had both been stolen from one of the residents' porch. They had an estimated value of $250.
  
Police officers were asked to take a report of a stolen firearm last week. The owner, age 73, reported that his nickel-plated Ruger semi-automatic .380 handgun was missing from his apartment. He said that he was not sure when it had actually been stolen. Loss in the case was approximately $280.
  
A third complainant, who resides on Cecil Street, reported that someone had stolen her pain medication out of her home She told officers that she had made certain to lock her home the previous night, but that someone had entered without her permission and stolen her prescription Lortab pills out of her purse.
