MVA WITH VEHICLE FIRE

Sunday at 3:16PM Maury County Fire Department responded to a reported MVA resulting in a vehicle fire on I-65 at the at the 43 mile marker. Responding units: Engines 21 & 30, Rescue 21.

Units arrived to find a vehicle fully involved and spreading through the median. The fire was quickly contained and luckily only minor injuries were reported.

As units were ready to clear, THP experienced a flat tire and Rescue 21 and a TDOT worker were able to assist with changing it, getting him back to trooping.
