Subject: Call Volume
Shortly after 10:30 last night Lawrence County Fire Rescue units from the Center Point station were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire just outside of the Loretto City Limits on Dixon Branch Road. Due to the location of the call the responding Center Point units requested an automatic aid engine company to assist. The crews worked together to quickly extinguish the fire.
Simultaneously LCFR units were dispatched to a report of a possible structure fire with smoke visible in the attic on Ethridge Red Hill Road. Several Units from Ethridge Fire Department arrived quickly and were able to locate the source of the smoke and mitigate the issue. An automatic aid engine company from Lawrenceburg Fire, as well as an automatic aid tanker from the Henryville station were also responding to the scene. These units were canceled as Ethridge Fire was able to quickly mitigate the situation.
At 11:39 PM LCFR units were dispatched to a mutual aid fire request onWalker Road in Lewis County. Original dispatch information indicated that a camper being used as a residence and a vehicle were on fire endangering a structure. Units from Summertown and Ethridge Fire responded to the scene. First arriving units from LCFR arrived on scene confirming a camper on fire with heavy involvement. Units were able to quickly extinguish the fire.
