Sumner County man jailed after two DUI arrests in one day

SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office reported a man was arrested twice in once day for driving under the influence.

Deputies initially arrested Davis Fyke, 65, Saturday at a state park after a reported hit-and-run in Gallatin. He was taken into custody, booked suspicion of DUI, and released.

Hours later, deputies found Fyke back at the park again.

His vehicle had been driven off the roadway and into a campground.

There were beer cans spilling from the vehicle, and Fyke was arrested a second time, according to SCSO.

Fyke has been booked into Sumner County Jail on DUI charges. His bond was set at $125,000.
