Vandalism at Saint Joseph City Park restrooms.

Over the weekend, someone kicked in and severely damaged two restroom doors at our city park.
This kind of vandalism is unacceptable. These restrooms were built for the benefit of our residents, families, and visitors. Now, because of someone’s reckless actions, they will remain out of service until the damaged doors can be replaced.
And unfortunately, those repairs will be paid for with taxpayer dollars.
We are asking anyone who may have information about who is responsible to please contact the City. You can remain anonymous.
We do not want to be forced to install additional surveillance cameras throughout the park, but if this kind of juvenile and destructive behavior continues, we will have no choice but to take stronger measures to protect public property.
Our park belongs to the entire community. Please help us protect it.
