Guns, pills, cash seized in Maury County drug bust

MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Thousands of pills and more than a dozen firearms were recovered during a drug bust following a months-long investigation in Maury County.

The Maury County Sheriff’s Office reported its Vice & Narcotics Unit executed search warrants in the county on Friday, July 10.

Deputies seized more than 2,000 pills, including 1,500 of suspected fentanyl or fentanyl-laced pills, cocaine and other narcotics, nearly $58,000 in cash, a GMC truck and multiple firearms, according to the sheriff’s office.

Special agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Cybercrime and Digital Evidence Unit assisted with the investigation.
