The Columbia Police Department are requesting the public's help in locating a suspect who is wanted on charges of attempted first degree murder along with being a person of interest in several homicides.
The Columbia Police Department released a photo along with the following statement on Thursday:
"Quortez Duncan is wanted by the Columbia Police Department for attempted First Degree Murder for a shooting incident that occurred on December 15th 2019, in which the victim reported Duncan shot at them several times as the victim was in their vehicle, with multiple rounds striking the vehicle in close proximity to the victim.
Quortez Duncan is also a person of interest in two homicides which occurred in Middle Tennessee in 2020. On January 7th 2020, The Metro Davidson County Police Department began investigating the shooting death of a twenty eight year old Nashville resident. On March 1st 2020, The Columbia Police Department began investigating the shooting death of a twenty seven year old Columbia resident. Both agencies have reason to believe that Duncan is associated with these cases.
Duncan’s whereabouts are unknown. He has multiple associates in various locations such as Columbia Tennessee, Spring Hill Tennessee, Nashville Tennessee, Murfreesboro Tennessee, Lewisburg Tennessee, California, Illinois, Michigan, and Texas.
