Lawrence County Veteran Receives Free Kubota Equipment Through "Geared to Give" Program

LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (July 7, 2026) — U.S. Navy veteran Keelan Brown of Lawrenceburg received a new Kubota L3902 compact tractor Tuesday through Kubota Tractor Corporation's Geared to Give program, a partnership with the Farmer Veteran Coalition that supports military veterans pursuing careers in agriculture.

Brown was one of just five farmer veterans selected nationwide to receive equipment through this year's program. He served more than 13 years in the U.S. Navy, including six deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Desert Storm.

Today, Brown and his wife, Rachel, own and operate Farmer Brown's Produce, a family-operated vegetable farm in Lawrenceburg that provides fresh produce through a Community Supported Agriculture Farm Shares program. The new tractor will help support the farm's daily operations and future growth.

Representatives from Kubota Tractor Corporation and local dealer Brown Equipment Company presented the equipment during a special delivery ceremony Tuesday afternoon.

Since Kubota’s Geared to Give program launched in 2015, Kubota has donated 56 pieces of equipment to farmer veterans across the country, helping veterans build successful agricultural businesses after their military service.
