Colbert County Sheriff’s Office searching for missing 45-year-old woman

COLBERT COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — Authorities in Colbert County are searching for a missing 45-year-old woman.

According to CCSO, 45-year-old Sonya Martinez, was last seen wearing black windbreaker pants, a red Alabama shirt, and gray shoes.

The Sheriff’s Office told News 19 that Martinez was last seen leaving a family member’s home on Bear Creek Trail in Cherokee.

Martinez is described as 5’4 and weighs 155 pounds.

Authorities said that Martinez was driving a 2008 black Dodge Avenger with tag number of 20C0736.
