City of Lawrenceburg Invites Community to Free Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Show

The City of Lawrenceburg invites residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day with an evening of family fun, food, and fireworks on Saturday, July 4, at Bobby Brewer Park.

This annual event is free and open to the public, with gates opening at 5:00 p.m., giving families plenty of time to gather and enjoy the festivities. Food trucks and vendors will be located in the large parking lot near the softball and soccer fields, offering a variety of food and treats throughout the evening.

A portion of the proceeds from food vendor sales will benefit the Lawrence County High School Band Boosters, helping support the band program and its students.

The highlight of the celebration will be the annual fireworks show, which is scheduled to begin at approximately 9:00 p.m.

The City encourages everyone to bring their lawn chairs and spend the evening with family and friends while celebrating our nation's 250 years of independence.

"The City Council and I are excited to once again host this community tradition and provide an opportunity for families to come together and celebrate Independence Day," said Mayor Blake Lay. "We invite everyone to join us for a fun-filled evening and enjoy one of the highlights of the summer."

The City of Lawrenceburg wishes everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July and looks forward to celebrating with the community at Bobby Brewer Park.
