The Lawrence County Public Library hosted

Lawrenceburg and Lawrence County Commissioners on Friday morning. Commissioners toured the facility and heard from Library Director Marie Brennan and Library Board Chair Lucas Hunt.

The Library offers a wide variety of programming for people of all ages. Opportunities are available to learn computer skills, do genealogical research, discuss books, learn crafts, color with friends, and more.

Art and science programs are scheduled now for teens, and toddlers can attend story time. Summer reading for elementary students is now underway. Follow Lawrence County Public Library to stay informed about all the Library offers.

An addition to the Lawrenceburg branch's east side is under consideration. Plans include additional parking, study rooms, a maker space, and a larger children's area.
