Giles County Sheriff’s Department is urging anyone with information regarding information leading to the arrest and conviction of James Grimes' killer(s) to please come forward where a $75,000 reward is being offered.

 

According to the Giles County Sheriff’s Department, "On the night of April 19, 2021 at 9:39pm the Giles County Sheriff's Department responded to the 6000 block of Buford Station Rd. in Lynnville to investigate the shooting death of 62 year old James Dayton Grimes.

This is an ongoing homicide investigation and all leads are being pursued. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Giles County Sheriff’s Department at 931-363-3505, or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
