EMR STUDENTS VISIT EMERGENCY SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS

On Monday , our Spring 2026 EMR students from Loretto and Summertown High School wrapped up their semester long Emergency Medical Responder program with an exciting field trip!

Students had the opportunity to visit the Jason Dickey Fire Training Center, where they learned about vehicle extrication and firefighting operations, giving them a firsthand look at the teamwork and skills involved in rescue situations.

They also toured Lawrence County E-911, where they gained insight into the vital role of our emergency telecommunicators and dispatchers.

The day concluded with a visit to the Air Evac Lifeteam base, where students explored the world of air medical transport and learned about the critical care services provided by flight crews.

This field trip served as the perfect culmination of their semester, connecting classroom knowledge with real world emergency services experience. We are proud of these students for their hard work and dedication, and we look forward to seeing the future they build in healthcare and public safety!

We are honored to have the opportunity to share emergency services with students throughout Lawrence County Schools. A huge thank you to Lawrence County Fire & Rescue Tennessee, Lawrence County E-911, and Air Evac Lifeteam 110 - Lawrenceburg, TN for allowing us to visit yesterday.
