Judge has ordered for a convicted sex offender to have his balls removed.

Louisiana judge has ordered that 54-year-old Glenn Sullivan Sr. to be physically castrated through a surgery known as orchiectomy.

Sullivan will also serve fifty years in prison as part of a guilty plea for the rape of a 14-year-old girl that resulted in a pregnancy.

According to the district attorney’s office, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office began investigating back in July 2022 after a young woman told detectives Sullivan raped her multiple times when she was 14 years old, resulting in her becoming pregnant.

A DNA test was ordered during the investigation, which officials said proved that Sullivan impregnated the girl where Detectives reported that Sullivan groomed the victim while using threats of violence against her and her family to prevent her from disclosing the rapes.

There is a law in Louisiana that gives men convicted of certain sex crimes the option of chemical or physical castration, and Sullivan has chose this surgical procedure to remove his testicles.
