Structure Fire Response – St. Joseph Area ��


Earlier today, the St. Joseph Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire off Fowler Drive near the railroad tracks.


Due to the structure’s remote location and dense overgrown vegetation, firefighters initially had difficulty accessing the scene. Mutual aid was requested, and the Loretto Fire Department and Southeast Fire Department responded to assist.


The Tennessee Division of Forestry was also contacted for specialized support. Forestry crews used a dozer to clear a path, allowing fire apparatus to reach the structure and enabling firefighters to effectively battle the blaze.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of all responding agencies, the fire was successfully extinguished.


At this time, the cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
