Leaders from Lawrenceburg were honored to join fellow leaders from across the great State of Tennessee on the floor of the Tennessee House of Representatives to celebrate the life and legacy of David Crockett.

As a son of Lawrence County, Crockett’s courage, service, and frontier spirit remain an important part of our community’s history and identity.

We were especially proud to see Ann Paley, Director of David Crockett State Park, recognized on the House floor. She did a wonderful job sharing the story of David Crockett and highlighting the lasting impact he continues to have on our region and across Tennessee.

It was a meaningful moment to honor a legacy that still inspires our community today. #DavidCrockettWeek
