Extra security remains in place at the Elementary School, Intermediate School, and Pre-K as a precaution.

The FBI has submitted the necessary circumstances paperwork, and the phone call has been traced to a Verizon cell phone originating out of California. Authorities are continuing to investigate to determine the credibility of the threat.
“We will continue to keep families informed as we receive additional information. The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority.”

From the Director of Schools:
“We have been made aware of a threat involving an alleged elementary student. While this individual's name is not in our system, we are taking it seriously. Additional security will be on-site at all public schools today, and the proper authorities, including the FBI, have been contacted.”
