Maury County Fire Department responded to a reported barn fire

on Canaan Rd on Tuesday, 1/3, at 7:04PM. Units responded: Engines 21, 25, Tankers 21 and 26, Brush 21, Division 30 and Mount Pleasant FD Engine 82 on auto aid.

Units arrived to find heavy fire conditions and commenced with defensive fire conditions. Luckily, the animals were let out of the barn prior to the fire consuming it thanks to an alert neighbor.
