Lawrenceburg Firefighters were dispatched to a residential fire early Wednesday morning where 2 possible victims and their dogs were still inside.

Lawrenceburg Fire Department released the following information and photos:

"03/13/2024
For immediate release
Subject: Structure Fire

At approximately 2:00 AM LFD units were dispatched for a residential structure fire in the area 2nd Ave/5th St. with reports of 2 possible victims still inside the structure.

First arriving units found fire and smoke visible for the from the A/B corner of the structure. County Sheriff Deputies arrived on scene before fire units and got the occupants out of the structure.

A primary search was conducted by fire crews and the fire was extinguished. 3 dogs were located and rescued from the structure and supplied with O2 on scene.

EMS checked the 2 occupants for any injuries and they refused transport."
