Vandalism incidents reported by local residents

Law enforcement officials are looking into a pair of vandalism incidents reported by Lawrenceburg residents this week. In one incident the victim reported to Lawrenceburg Police officers that a motorist had crashed into hismailbox, then fled from the scene.

He was unable to provide any further information about the motorist. He estimated loss at $100.In a second vandalism case officers were dispatched to Farmer’s Supply Company, 1320 North LocustAvenue.

Owners reported that, sometime during the previous weekend, someone broke three windows out of a tractor that had been parked on the back lot. Officers noted that the windows appeared to have been broken with some sort of blunt object.
