Victim reports mechanic stole her keys

On Tuesday a Lawrenceburg woman spoke with Lawrenceburg Police officers, reporting that her mechanic had apparently stolen her keys, then never returned to finish the job he had begun.

The victim reported that she had hired the man to fix her truck and that he had worked on it through out the day on Monday.

He was to return Tuesday morning to complete the job. She said he did not show upand she found that he had blocked her on Facebook.

She then noticed that her key ring was missing. It held keys to her truck, home and mailbox.Loss in the case is estimated to total $183. The case currently remains under investigation.
