Theft
Deputies spoke with the owner of Self’s Market last week who reported that a male driver had pumped $38.71 worth of gas, then drove away without paying for it.
Burglary
A couple renovating a house on James Road in Ethridge filed a complaint with deputies, indicating that someone had broken into the residence and stole a black air compressor and an orange gas-forced air heater. The items had an estimated combined value of $425.
Theft
A Summertown resident reported to deputies last weekend that he had been driving for Uber, transporting several different individuals in five counties. When he returned home, he said he realized that someone had stolen his wallet.
Theft
A resident of Chief Creek Road reported to deputies Wednesday that his 2010 Polaris four-wheeler had been stolen sometime since the previous day. The theft resulted in a loss of around $5,000.
Burglary
Deputies were asked to investigate the burglary of a home under renovation on Horseshoe Bend Road Wednesday. The man doing the renovations reported he arrived to find that the back door had been kicked open, damaging the door facing. He said nothing appeared to be missing, but that there was around $500 worth of damage.
