Bank of Frankewing welcomes new lender; names new branch manager

The Bank of Frankewing announces the addition of Brian Cooper to its staff. Cooper, who will be based out of the Lawrenceburg Office, will be responsible for commercial and consumer lending.
“Brian has been a community banker since 1985 and adds years of experience to our already talented staff,” said David Barnes, President of the Bank of Frankewing. “We are a locally owned, community bank and we are excited to have a group of lenders that mirror our small-town values.”
Cooper earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and Masters in Business Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. He is also a graduate of the Southeastern School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
The Bank of Frankewing has also promoted Kevin Thompson to Branch Manager. Thompson, who started his tenure with Bank of Frankewing last November, will manage the Lawrenceburg Office. “Kevin has exceeded our expectations,” said Harlie Shrader, Senior Lender at the Bank of Frankewing.
“He has proven himself worthy of this promotion and will no doubt continue to impress us with his leadership as Branch Manager.” Thompson is Vice-President of the Lawrence County Catbackers Football Booster Club and is a past President of the Lawrenceburg Kiwanis Club and past Treasurer of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce. He is married to Robin Thompson and is father to two daughters, Brittney and Reagan.
