Hargrove takes action concerning tires in Loretto

Press release

On June 20, 2018 a hearing was held in front of Judge Stella Hargrove on the nuisance action brought by the City of Loretto against Mack Gable and Robert Queripel concerning the used automobile tires that have been accumulated at 1000 N. Military St in Loretto, Tennessee.

After hearing the testimony of several witnesses, Judge Hargrove condemned the tires as a health hazard and ordered the Defendants to remove the tires within the next twenty days. The tires are to be removed at the expense of the defendants.

If the defendants do not remove the tires and the City is forced to do it, the cost of removal will be attached as a lien against the property owner. The City of Loretto brought the action to enforce the City’s ordinance against Health and Sanitation Nuisances.
