Search warrant of a Loretto resident resulted in a narcotics bust.

 

The Loretto Police Department along with K-9 Kilo from the Lawrenceburg Police Department and St. Joseph officers was serving a search warrant on Wednesday at a First Avenue North residence when they discovered narcotics.

The officers found 3 ounces of methamphetamine with some being packaged for resale, 2 grams of marijuana, 2 loaded handguns, and approximately $2,100 in cash was also seized from inside the home.

The man that resides at the residence was Andy Perry who was arrested for charges of possession of schedule II for resale, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Perry was transported to the Lawrence County jail where it was discovered that he was actually out on bond from another drug arrest.

His bond is set at $156,000 where he awaits his July court date.
