STUDY SMART
I have been thinking about my years in school. I always made very good grades, but am not all that smart.
Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison got D's in school. Now this doesn't seem right , but students with exceptional minds ,sometimes achieve low grades while students with average brains, earn high ones.
GRADES DO NOT MEASURE MENTAL ABILITY, Well, whaddya know? Let me explain, suppose that a three year old ask "who was George Washington?” and you tell her he was the first President.
So now every time you ask her who was George Washington? she answers, the first , President. Ok now lets take a parrot, I ask the parrot.
What was Einstein's understanding of the relationship, between mass and energy? So I train the parrot to say "E=MC2.
IS THE PARROT READY TO TEACH PHYSICS? Well, THE BIRD KNOWS HOW TO SAY THE ANSWER BUT HE dosen't know what he is saying.
If you listen to what the teachers are saying they are giving you the answer to the test. Most people dwell on why instead of just taking what is given.
For example if I tell you can't compress a liquid don't wonder why just, don't ask why because the teacher does not know and might take you down the wrong road.
So what I have learned over the many years If you want to make good grades ,take what is given and go with it .If I have bored you sorry.
That is my story, if it is not yours, it ought to be,
