The Lawrence County High School Teaching as a Profession Class has completed its first hands on experience at Ingram Sowell Elementary. Students have completed a 28 hour internship at IngramSowell School. The faculty and staff of Ingram Sowell have been tremendously helpful. The students all feel they have a realistic vision of what being a teacher is all about. Instructor, Patti Lopp wants to thank everyone there for helping to make this course such a success. The environment at Ingram Sowell is fantastic. Check out the album that has been added!

E. O. Coffman's Jr. Beta Club helped pack boxes for the 22nd annual Spirit of Santa on Monday, Dec. 19th at Rotary Park.

Loretto High School Career and Technical Organizations give a face lift to the courtyard at the LHS. Students from several C & T clubs stayed after school to clean and re-mulch the court yard on Tuesday November 8th. A very big part of the C & T Organizations is participating in community work and service. We will like to thank Mrs. Niedergeses for getting the mulch donated for this project.
Abbie Lee Hood of Lawrence County High School placed 1st in the prepared public speaking competition at Hickman County High School. Abbie Lee's speech spoke of the importance of educating young children about the importance of agriculture. |

These students in the EMS class received certification in disaster training from the Medical Reserve Corp. They followed up with participating in a county wide Disaster drill at Crockett Hospital the following day. Robin Barnett is the instructor.
