It's a momumentous, joyous occasion in our country today, as we celebrate the win of conservative Scott Brown in Massachusetts, a traditionally liberal state. The former seat held by Liberal Lion Ted Kennedy has been handed to a conservative leader, by the people of the state.
The liberal Democrats put up a tremendous fight, and President Obama himself made a journey to Massachusetts to stump for liberal Martha Coakley, who would have given the current administration a virtually insurmountable lead on Capitol Hill.
Coakley supported gay marriage and abortion, two ideals that have helped to distance our country from God and that have helped to bring our nation to the brink of disaster.
With Brown now elected, it gives us great momentum and hope for taking back our nation's capitol this fall. We can hopefully turn down the Obamacare agenda, and help to stop the downslide of our economy, brought on by liberal agendas in Washington.
However, we cannot sit on our laurels! We must be vigilant, and we must get behind our conservative candidates and help push them to victory in November.
Our nation stands at a crucial junction, and we must be ready to turn the tide before it's too late.
Now, more than ever, conservatism and trust in God is critcial if we are going to turn our nation around.
God bless you and God bless us all.
