Driving through Henryville you may not pay much attention to this old building but, it was once the post office. Gasoline was sold too. Two old pumps are seen and in the far right a vehicle is seen parked next to the building. Maybe a 40's era car or truck? Some transformation to the store along the front windows appear to have occured. Today a bay window is seen, added sometime in the past. Notice too the road in front of the building is much lower today than it once was. The turnpike was straightened somewhat years ago and apparently grading was done here to reduce an incline.
A familiar stucture in Lawrenceburg for a long time is the Lawrenceburg Sacred Heart Church. Not much has changed from Mahr Ave to the church, but west of the church has a newer building now. The fence no longer runs along the front property either.
