It's that time of year once again!

The sound of the electronic metronome rings through the air, and we can hear the drums thumping out the beat of the new songs of Lawrence County High School's Big Gold Machine.

If you've ever been to a football game at the high school, you've had the opportunity to watch these great kids put on a fantastic show. What some of you may not know is the hard work and dedication that these kids put into making this show possible.

For the last week and a half, during the sweltering hot mornings, these kids (and their directors, of course!) were out on the concrete putting together the music and the steps for this years show.

Slathered in sunscreen, dripping with sweat, these students have worked very hard to put this show together. Their numbers are not great, but their spirit is strong!

You can hear the heart that they put into every note. This year, please take the time during the half time period to watch the show! The Big Gold Machine have literally put their blood, sweat, and tears into make it happen...for you as well as for themselves.
