LCHS Parking Lot

The parking lot and all roads leading into and out of the school have a posted speed limit of 10 mph. 10 mph. Not 30 mph, not 50 mph, not what ever you feel like mph.

Some of the football players, many of the students, and many of the parents fly through this parking lot as if they are on the Autobahn.

The band practices in the parking lot on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays through October. The Cross Country team has runners coming through the area.

Regardless of what events may be going on in the stadium or in the lower field, the band practice area is off limits to vehicle parking and cross traffic. If someone is directing you away from this area to park somewhere else when the band is out there practicing, don't argue with them.

Who are you to think you are so privileged that the rules don't apply to you?

While sitting in the parking lot on Friday waiting to go to Columbia, an SUV came through there driving so fast it shook the car! What's wrong with you people? You are NOT so special that the speed limit does not apply to you (Mr. truck driver license plate 555-vjx!!)

When you run over one of your friends or one of your kids' friends and cripple or kill them, maybe then you'll get it through your arrogant skulls.,Slow down in school parking lots. DUH.
