Annual Cavalcade of Antique Cars Event "Cruised" Through Lawrence County Saturday

   The Lawrence County Classic Car Club and the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce once again presented the county-long parade of antique cars known as the Cavalcade of Antique Cars.

   The parade began in the northern portion of Lawrence County at Tietgens’ Super Rama, located on U.S. Highway 43 north. The parade traveled through the county, ending along Highway 43 South, at the St. Joseph Civic Center.

   “Cruise-in” sites where participants were able to display cars and/or join the parade were at Ethridge Church of Christ, Chapparral Restaurant and First Farmers & Merchants National Bank in Loretto.

   All cars had to be 1981 or before.
