Man Making False 911 Calls Is Arrested
Lawrenceburg Now
A Lawrenceburg man was taken into custody early Friday for allegedly making false claims of a domestic altercation and abusing the 911 system.
Reports filed through the Lawrenceburg Police Department show that officers were dispatched to the Geri Street home of twenty-six year old Christopher Bradley Pulver just before 2:00 a.m. Dispatchers with Lawrence Central Dispatch received a 911 call indicating that Pulver had been involved in a domestic situation.
Officers noted that Pulver was the sole occupant of the apartment at the time of their arrival and there was no sign of a domestic altercation. They indicate that Pulver appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicant.
When questioned, officers indicate that Pulver confessed that he had made false claims and that he had not been involved in an altercation. Reports show that he also admitted that he was under the influence of methamphetamine.
Authorities note that Pulver had made several other 911 calls in previous weeks during which he also made false claims. Officers said that Pulver was on parole at the time and that his parole officer had been informed of the situation. In addition, they said that within weeks he had sought emergency transport to the hospital on multiple occasions.
As a result of the investigation Pulver was placed under arrest on charges of abuse of the 911 system and filing a false police report. He was incarcerated under a bond of $55,000.
Pulver has been scheduled an initial appearance in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on February 5, 2015.
