Chamber Christmas Gala To Benefit Spirit Of Santa
A new tradition will begin in Lawrence County this year on December 4, 2010 with the first Chamber of Commerce Christmas Gala. This will become an annual event with all proceeds going towards a different charity every year.
The event will be held at Providence Hall on the square at 7:30 P.M. following the Christmas Parade. This event will not only be a great opportunity to raise money for those in need, but it will also be an enjoyable night for all who attend.
Each attendee will have the opportunity to participate in a silent and live auction filled with unique and desirable items. You will also enjoy the entertainment of a live band, and partake in excellent food and drink.
This year the spotlight charity for the Chamber of Commerce Christmas Gala will be The Spirit of Santa. The Spirit of Santa is a charity that provides children with Christmas gifts that normally would not have the opportunity to have a gift on Christmas morning.
“The Christmas Gala is an exciting opportunity for the citizens of Lawrence County to come together for an enjoyable evening while giving back during a time of the year when so many are in need.
We are proud to choose the Spirit of Santa as this year’s beneficiary and all monies will go to this very worthy cause,” said Daniel Webb, Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce.
“We have a great community who has always shown their support for the chamber. We hope everyone will come out and support this event.”
The cost for the Chamber of Commerce Christmas Gala will be $30 per person. Tickets may be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce office or Loretto Telephone Company Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. till 4:30 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale Monday, November 8, through Wednesday, December 1. Tickets will not be available at the door.
