Burglars Target Storage Units In Summertown
Burglars targeted some storage units in Summertown last week, leaving the victim with a considerable monetary loss.
Deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department answered the call to storage units on Monument Road where the victim said she had made the discovery at around 3:00 p.m.
The victim reported that the locks had been cut off of both units and all traces of the locks removed. She said that the locks had been in place and intact when she visited the units earlier in the month.
Deputies reported that, because the number of items taken was great, the victim would need to conduct a complete inventory in order to determine the extent of her loss.
