Police officers look into another incident involving counterfeit money

Lawrenceburg Police officers were asked to initiate an investigation Sunday after a counterfeit $100 bill was passed at another local business. According to department reports, officers were summoned to Tractor Supply Company on North Locust

Avenue just after 4:30 p.m. Employees gave statements indicating that, when he checked out, a man used a counterfeit bill to pay for his purchase.

At the time reports were filed store officials were reviewing security video in the hopes of recovering apicture of the suspect. Anyone who has information that might assist in the investigation should contact the police department by calling 762-2276
