A semi truck was trapped under a railroad bridge after failing to see the low bridge signs.

 

The incident occurred on Saturday night in Goodlettsville when police stated that a semi truck that was 13 feet tall tried to go under the railroad bridge near the Motel 6 on Cedar Street that only had a 12 foot clearance.

According to the report the driver of the semi truck said that he did not see the low bridge sign, and once he went under the bridge his truck became stuck.

Responding units were able to safely remove the damaged semi truck, and luckily there was no injuries reported with the incident.

Due to the accident the roadway under the railroad bridge was closed until 9:00 a.m. the following day.
