Monday Crime Report

Vandalism

Police officers answered a call on Torges Street Friday where the resident reported damage to his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. He said that he left the truck at his home while he had been on a fishing trip. He returned to find it had been covered in shaving cream. Once he washed the shaving cream away he discovered that someone had used a sharp object to scratch both sides and the tailgate, resulting in around $400 in damage.

Theft

On Friday officers were called to a business located on Business Avenue in Lawrenceburg. The owner reported he had come to mow the grass only to find that his red Huskey riding mower was missing from a covered area at the rear of the business. Loss was said to be $450.

A ninety-two year old resident of Parks Avenue reported damages to his yard last week. He told officers that he had come outside to find that someone had driven all the way across his yard, damaging the lawn, a fence and flowerbed. He estimated damages to total $240.
