LHS Band At 19th Annual Southern Hospitality Invitational
This past weekend Saturday, October 4, 2014, they performed at the 19th Annual Southern Hospitality Invitational in Hartselle, Alabama.
The Band, Color Guard and Percussion all received superior ratings, and the drum major received an excellent rating.
The Color Guard was awarded Best in Class honors in Class A and placed 4th overall out of 24 guards behind Albertville, AL, Bob Jones from Huntsville, AL, and Tishomingo, MS.
The band won 2nd place in Class A and placed 11th overall out of 24 bands. The percussion section won 3rd place in Class A.
The band is directed by Darrell Boston, assisted by Veronica Troup and guard instructor Kalee Richardson.
