Tuesday Crime Report

Theft

An individual who allegedly stole an item from a Waterfork Road, Ethridge home last week told deputies that she would return the item. The victim reported that the woman had made entry to a shed on her property and stole an eagle lamp valued at $25. Once contacted by deputies, the woman said she would return it. The victim was advised about the process of obtaining a criminal summons.

Vandalism

A Lanning Road resident discovered last week that a window had been busted in his 2003 Chevrolet Silverado sometime overnight. Damages were assessed at $150.

Theft

Police officers were asked to investigate when a resident of Dawn Avenue discovered that two 20” BMX bicycles had been stolen from the property. The bikes were valued at $188.

Vandalism

A resident of Gimlet Road reported Friday that someone had thrown a cosmetic mirror from a passing car, striking the passenger side of his 1967 Dodge Cornet. Damages were assessed at $1,500.

Theft

A metal bathtub was reported stolen from a Caldwell Road, Summertown property Saturday, resulting in a loss of approximately $200.

Vehicle burglary

Police officers were dispatched to a North Mahr Avenue home last week where the resident reported that someone had broken into her 2003 Ford Mustang and stole her wallet. Loss was estimated to be $50.

Theft

On Friday an eighty-year -old Newberry, Florida resident reported to police officers that he had lost his wallet. He said that he believed he had dropped it in a parking lot at a Lawrenceburg business, but was unable to find it when he returned. His loss was said to be $405.

Burglary

Burglars targeted Music Tripp on North Locust Avenue overnight Friday, making off with 8 cartons of cigarettes and 70 lighters. The glass was broken from the front door. Total loss was estimated at $880.
