Local Victimized In Wake Of Kind Deed
A Lawrenceburg woman reported that she had been victimized after performing a kind deed for some acquaintances Tuesday.
The victim, age 70, told officers with the Lawrenceburg Police Department that she had invited a couple over for dinner that evening because “they had been having financial problems and she wanted to do something nice for them.”
The victim said that once the couple left she discovered that sixty Xanax pills were missing from the prescription bottle in her purse. She told officers that her purse had been sitting in an area where the male friend had been standing for quite some time.
Loss in the case is estimated at $60.
