County General And State Primary Election Is Thursday, County Offices Will Be Closed
Polls will be open throughout the day Thursday so that voters may cast their votes for various races appearing on the County General and State Primary ballots.
The two week early voting period drew to a close on Saturday. In order to vote, those who did not have an opportunity to participate in early voting must go to their designated polling location Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Voters are advised to have their voter registration cards and photo IDs at the ready.
During Thursday’s election all Lawrence County Government offices will be closed. Officials report that the offices will re-open at 8:00 a.m. Friday.
