Tuesday Crime Report
Burglary
Deputies were called to a home on Cobb Alley in Leoma last week to investigate a burglary. The complainant reported that the owner lives in South Carolina. He said that he had arrived to find that someone had broken in through the back door, causing damage to the door frame. Nothing appeared to be missing. Damages were assessed at $100.
Theft
A resident of McAfee Lane in Leoma requested that deputies be dispatched to her home last week to investigate the theft of a lawnmower. She said that she had been away from home for a couple of days, returning to find that her Huskey riding mower was missing. It had an estimated value of $650.
